The Natural Cooling Revolution: How the Earth Air Tunnel (EAT) System is Changing the Way We Think About Air Conditioning

As the world grapples with the challenges of climate change, energy efficiency, and sustainability, the need for innovative cooling solutions has never been more pressing. Traditional air conditioning systems, which rely on electricity and refrigerants, are not only expensive to operate but also contribute to greenhouse gas emissions and environmental degradation. However, a game-changing technology has emerged to disrupt the status quo: the Earth Air Tunnel (EAT) system. This natural cooling revolution is poised to transform the way we think about air conditioning, providing a cost-effective, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly solution for cooling our homes and buildings. What is the Earth Air Tunnel (EAT) System? The EAT system is a passive cooling solution that harnesses the natural temperature of the earth to regulate indoor temperatures. This innovative technology uses the earth's consistent coolness to cool the air, eliminating the need for electricity and refrige...

The Alan Turing Institute, London & UK Defence and Security

UK National AI Strategy

The UK Government recently announced its first-ever National Artificial Intelligence Strategy (UKNAIS) for 10-year plan aimed at staking an area for the country among the world’s artificial intelligence superpowers.

An organization which will help to show AI strategy into action are going to be the Alan Turing Institute, which was founded  in 2015 as a national research facility for data science and artificial intelligence. The institute takes its name from the highly influential British mathematician and computer scientist. Among Turing’s many notable achievements, he is considered to process  played a vital role in cracking Nazi codes during the Second World War because of his development of the Enigma Machine.

The institute has just announced the appointment of Professor Mark Girolami as its first chief scientist. Girolami moves into the chief scientist role following a stint leading the institute’s program in data-centric engineering. The institute has been in 'start-up' mode since 2015, it has been evolving and developing, with affirm believe of AI and data science will change the world, where as it already has been transformed.

Among the other projects that have already been undertaken at the institute are initiatives to create AI-powered air traffic control systems for UK airports, and digital twin systems in use by rail systems and in aerospace design.

Researchers of the artificial intelligences predicted that global economy by 2030 are hoping to be totally based upon AI. Sooner or later governments & related departments shall put their national strategies

As with many research establishments in recent times, the institute, and Girolami, found their focus diverted to tackling challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. He said, "That's just one project the Turing Institute has played a task in over the last number of years. So far, it’s fair to mention that the United Kingdom has not done a good deal to determine itself as a world AI superpower. Deep-Mind, the London based deep learning specialists accountable for creating the AI that beat an expert player of the board game Go, is probably the nation’s best-known achievement which group has been a subsidiary of Google since 2014.

It is quite clear, that technology is merely a component of the answer. Therefore educational institutes should be committed the equally essential planning and thinking around ethical and regulatory issues. Again it's essential, as a society we must always right, if we would like to benifit from AI. Courses for AI technology must be compulsory for all undergraduate levels.
